Wednesday, January 17th, 2007 by chrisSo, apparently the phone companies have been taxing us for something they haven’t needed to for years (imagine that!). Therefore, we all get to claim credit on our taxes (if you own a landline)

Now, Stand still like a piece of corn.
Friday, January 12th, 2007 by chrisArctic air continues to press in across Missouri and Illinois from the north and west this morning as moisture surges north from Texas and Oklahoma. The combination will bring the possibility of power outages and travel issues to some parts of the Bi-State area, including St. Louis. As the cold air surges in today, temperatures will drop to around freezing over central and northeast Missouri this afternoon changing rain to freezing rain. During the night, the freezing temperatures will slip into the metro area resulting in a changeover to freezing rain for a time. Significant ice accumulation is possible which may result in long duration, widespread power outages.
Awesome. Just what we need. I can’t wait to spend another week without power.
And, no, this post had nothing to do with corn. I just felt like saying that.
