Lily-Bean Update

I figured it was time to post a “Lily update”… We are definitley on our way to the terrible two’s, but at the same time, I don’t think she’s been any more cute than she has in the last month or so. Let’s see.. what can I say about our crasy daughter..
Some of her Favorite Things:
-[m]elmo
-Trains
-Blankets (thank melmo for that one)
-Pointing out ca[r]s, [t]rucks, busses, and ‘airp[l]anes in the sky’
-Calling everything that sounds like the word ‘Kitty,’ “meow” (like katie, the kiddie pool, etc)
-Towels. (don’t ask me…)
-Cookies
-Ice-C[r]eam
-Macnonalds *sigh*
Some of her “Tricks”
-Digging in my pocket and exclaiming, “daddy, momby (money) p[l]ease” with hands outstreatched.
-Playing very quietly with her [t]oys when she’s supposed to be napping
-Sticking babydolls up her shirt and telling us “baby eat”
-Making messes and then sadly proclaiming “meeeesssss!”
-Making a mess with food and sadly proclaiming “cookie meeesssss!”
-Showing off by being extra cute for any and all company
Her Birthday is in a month. I think she’s getting a tricycle, wagon, and a kitchen set… We’re planning a small party/cookout the Sunday before her birthday. I said she can only have a tricycle if it has streamers on it.
I came home from work on Monday to find Lily and Amanda on the sidewalk… Lily was pushing her car with every bit of determination she could muster. Apparently, she was on her way to [g]rama’s. She went up the street, and back down.. back up, and back down.

TV (and Australia) has lost a hero. You have to admit, though, that it was bound to happen. Personally, I would’ve bet death by poison or decapitation, but I suppose a stingray’s barb through the chest was just as likely as anything else. Jeers, Mate.
